I have been helping to run a co operative gallery shop project since December. The shop has just relaunched for the spring/summer and we shall be holding numerous events and shows in the next few months.
I also have some new work showing there and am offering spray paint tutorials over the Easter holidays.
Visit the Facebook event for details
The Sinna One Spray Can rose is here. Made from one whole spray can, that at some point painted one of the many walls, boxes or characters that I have created over the years. I have always been bothered about the fact that when I finish a can, there are dregs left in the bottom that I can’t reach.
I pierce the can, release the dregs, use these as a background on a canvas or painting and then make the rest if the can in to a rose.
Set in to concrete, thus encompassing the life of spray paint from the can on to the wall, and then finished with a felt bottom, to stop it from scratching the table.
These little beauties are now available at the Art Schism shop in Brighton.
Perfect for the Valentines vandal in your life.
Yup,yup, yup. It’s all over. I know. It comes, it goes. In a flash. Just like that.
I must apologise to anybody who comes to my blog for my images as I have been soooooo busy thru December that I didn’t get to post the last few Grafik Advents.
Here they are for you now… For the full set click here
This years advent is proving tough. Had to wait for the rain in the last few days, but also being involved in the Art Schism project as well as other projects is taking up my time too.
I think that I need a clone!
Here are the latest offerings….
As usual for December it is very cold. Fingers have almost dropped off. Rain is here today and may stop play….Booo!!
Here’s the last few days
More to come and don’t forget to come in to the Art Schism shop at 87 Gloucester Rd, Brighton BN1 4AP to see more of my artwork for sale as well as other great artists and makers.
My good friend Dee lives down the road from these boxes and suggested that I painted a Yeti on them.
So I did.
Yes, yes. It’s back. The Grafik Advent hosted by me, Sinna One.
It’s flipping freezing out there at the moment, but has that stopped me?
My paint stained fingers have taking such a cold bashing in the last five days and they shall continue to do so until the advent is up. So here are the first few and expect to see more. Every day. Watch this space….
Once again, I am posting about the Badger Cull debate. The petition is still out there and needs to be signed. An amazing response so far with 156,000 signatures, however anyone that believes this is wrong and hasn’t signed needs to do so. Sign here
The good news is that this is now due for debate in Parliament, but it aint over yet.
In other Stop the Cull news there is a Love the Badger flash mob dance this weekend in Parliament Square from 2pm and Trafalgar Square from 3.30pm on Sunday the 21st October. Organised by the great folks at Artful Badger. More info here – ShnufleShnuffle.
And finally…My image of the Badgerfaced Blues that i painted on a shutter in Brighton as my response to the proposed cull was reposted on the RSPCA official facebook page and got nearly 900 likes. Very proud of that.
